About Dr. Wokasor Eni Ofem

Dr. Wokasor Eni Ofem is an Educational Manager and Educational Economist. He holds Ordinary National Diploma in Fisheries Technology from the erstwhile IBB College of Agriculture, Obubra (2003); a B.Ed. degree in Educational Administration and Planning (2008); an M.Ed degree in Educational Administration and Planning (2014); a Ph.D. degree in Economics of Education (2021) from the University of Calabar, Calabar-Nigeria. Before joining the University of Calabar International Demonstration Secondary School in 2013 as Master II, Dr. Ofem had a stint with the Banking Sector where he served as Transaction Officer with Oceanic Bank in 2005 and the Cross River State Commercial Agriculture as Service Provider amongst other private practices. In 2015, he was transferred from Unical International Demonstration Secondary School to the erstwhile Department of Educational Administration and Planning (now Educational Management) and was upgraded to the rank of Assistant Lecturer. Dr. Ofem has taught many courses to undergraduates within the Department of Educational Management, erstwhile Faculty of Education, and the Center for General Studies. Dr. Ofem has attended five conferences organized by different bodies where he presented papers in addition to making useful contributions. He is a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, the Nigerian Association for Educational Administration and Planning, and the Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management. Dr. Ofem has nine high-quality journal publications in both foreign and local journals. He is a recipient of the Institutional-based TETFund Research Grant in 2021. He is happily married to Linda Wokasor Ofem and the marriage is blessed with three children.
