About Prof. Walter Abeng Mboto

I am a Professor of Industrial Sociology/Social Work in the University of Calabar. I am a native of Ovonum in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. I was born on the 21st of September, 1971. I am the last in a polygamous family. I attended St. Paul's primary school Ovonum, Federal school of Arts and science Ogoja and University of Calabar, Calabar all in Cross River State. I hold a B.Sc Hons in Sociology, M.Sc and Ph.D in Industrial Sociology. I am a lecturer in the department of Social Work. Aside lecturing, I have a wealth of community development experience as i have served my State and Local Government in various capacities.
