About Dr. Rijami Godwin Ekpo

Dr. Rijami Godwin Ekpo, FMCS was awarded a Bachelor in Medicine, Bachelor in Surgery (MB,BCH) degree in 1995. He served his internship at Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna between 1996 and 1997. He did the Residency Training Programme in Surgery at University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar and became a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College in 2014. He also holds a Certificate on Leadership and Management in Health, University of Washington in 2016. Dr Rijami Godwin Ekpo took up appointment with the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital as a Hospital Consultant in 2015 and was appointed Lecturer I in the Department of Surgery, University of Calabar in 2016. He has been teaching and guiding students in the Department since joining the University. Dr Rijami is also serving as Honorary Chief Consultant Burns, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon with University of Calabar Teaching Hospital and has attended many conferences.
