About Dr. Queeneth Ndukwe Kalu

Dr. Queeneth Ndukwe Kalu is an Associate Professor in the University of Calabar. A member of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences Distinguished Lecture Series Committee and Faculty Representative to the Faculty of Pharmacy. She is the incumbent acting Head of the Anaesthesiology Department and holds the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) as well as a Post Fellowship Diploma in Anaesthesia (DA) from the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA). She has special interest in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Anaesthesia Quality and Safety, Intensive care, Obstetric Anaesthesia and analgesia as well as Global Health as it relates to Anaesthesia. She is the South-South Airway Lead for the Society of Airway Management, Nigerian Chapter. A mother of two, industrious, creative, hardworking, a great motivator, intelligent and a good team player.
