About Dr. Otu Ikoi Ettah

Dr. Otu Ettah was engaged by the University of Calabar, in August 2017 after a two and half year lecturing stint with the Cross River University of Technology Cross Rivers State (CRUTECH). Before my foray into the academics world, i worked as an Agricultural Officer in the Cross River State Unified Local Government Service and within that period of working there seconded to the Cross River State Secondary Education Board as a teacher. Dr. Ettah graduated summa cum laude from the Department of Agricultural Economics for the Masters and Doctorate degrees respectively of the prestigious University of Nigeria with bias in Farm Management and Production Economics and Bachelor of Agriculture from the Department of Agricultural Economics University of Calabar. Dr. Ettah is the Secretary of Department of Agricultural Economics entrepreneurial development and Faculty Representative to Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences. He has been involved in teaching and guiding under graduate student research as well as undertaken research in different areas of agriculture including agricultural production, food security, climate change, agriculture finance, cooperatives, etc. and their output published in reputable peer review foreign and local journals and conference proceedings. Dr Otu Ettah regular participant in many local and international conferences, seminars, symposia and workshops.
