About Prof. Nsobiari Festus Awara

Dr. Nsobiari Festus Awara graduated from the University of Calabar, Nigeria in 1994 Bachelor of Science Degree with Second Class Upper Division; and Master of Business Administration Degree in 2001. He received his Ph.D (Marketing) Degree in 2006. He joined the services of the University of Calabar as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Marketing in 1998 and has risen to the rank of Associate Professor. He is currently the Acting Head of Department of the Department of Marketing. He has served the University system in the several capacities. He belongs to the following professional bodies: Fellow, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (fnimn) Member, Academy of Management Nigeria (MAMN); Member, International Institute for Policy Review and Development Strategies (MIIPRS) He has published extensively globally in both local and international journals and books. His areas of specialization are Consumer Behavior and Service Marketing. He is also the Pastor of The Bible Baptist Church, a fundamental Baptist Church in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. Dr. Nsobiari Festus Awara is happily married to Juliet and their marriage is blessed with three lovely boys.
