About Mrs. Mercy Lawrence Ekwok

Mercy Lawrence Ekwok has a humble and humane personality that enables her function well in Guidance and Counselling. She has Passion for Mental Sub- normality and modification of behaviour. She is Cheerful and has positive mindset in all her endeavours. Mercy was employed into the University of Calabar as an Administrative Assistant on the 14th of December 2015 and was later converted form Administrative Assistant to Assistant Lecturer on the 19th of September, 2019. She hails form Abi Local Government Area by birth and Yala by Marriage both in Cross River State, Nigeria. She also holds a bachelor degree in Guidance and Counselling (2007 – 2010) , Master of Guidance and Counselling (2013 – 2019). She has just taught for some Sessions. She is a member of Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON). She is also involved in the community development in different sphere and currently she is the Departmental welfare officer.
