About Mr. Suleiman Gbenga Lawal

Mr Suleiman Gbenga Lawal obtained his B.Sc. degree in Economics from Bayero University, Kano in 2008 and an M.Sc. degree in Finance from University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2014. He joined the services of the University of Calabar, Nigeria on the 1st November 2016 as an Assistant Lecturer. His main research interests are focused on International Finance, Public Finance and Islamic Finance in which he has authored and co-authored several articles that have been published in reputable academic peer reviewed local journal. He participated actively in the 8th International Conference of the Accounting and Finance Research Association held in the University of Calabar International Conference Center in 2018, where he made a presentation. He is presently involved in the teaching, mentoring and supervising of undergraduate students in the Department of Banking and Finance.
