As a multi-disciplined Technologist, he has worked in Physics Department and in the Department of Zoology and Environmental Biology. He then converted to an Assistant Lecturer on the 8th of May, 2009 having obtained M.Sc. degree. He has since risen in rank to the position of a Lecturer I. He has lectured in the Department of Zoology and Environmental Biology, Fisheries and Aquaculture and currently in the Department of Science Laboratory Technology. Having obtained a First School Leaving Certificate (FLSC) and a secondary school certificate (WASC), he gained an employment in 1981. He has after wards studied and obtained several qualifications from the University of Calabar, the Nigerian Institute of Science Technology and the London Institute of Science Technology (Distance Learning with UNICAL as a study centre). Such qualifications include the NIST Final Technologist’s Diploma (Physiology/Pharmacology and Physics/Electronics Techniques options) and City & Guide (I & II) of the London Institute of Science Technology in Biological Sciences Techniques. He has obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Aquaculture (PGDA) in 1996 and with this went through further Post graduate studies and bagged the MSc, and Ph.D in Fisheries and Aquaculture respectively.
