About Dr. Isaac Ubi

Isaac Ubi joined the University of Calabar, Nigeria as lecturer on 1st September, 2008 and was promoted Senior Lecturer on 1st October 2014. He holds several degrees including a Ph.D in Educational Measurement and Evaluation of the University of Calabar. He teaches courses in Educational Research, Statistics, Measurement and Evaluation and has supervised a couple of Thesis. He received the TETFUND grant for research in 2014 and submitted bound copies of its report in 2015. A consultant statistician and data analyst, Dr Ubi has been external examiner to some Universities in Nigeria, including the University of Lagos. He has attended and presented papers in several academic conferences, published in several reputable Journals, contributed chapters in edited Research and statistics books. He is member of two academic professional bodies – Educational Assessment and Research Network in Africa (EARNiA), and the Association of Educational Researchers and Evaluators of Nigeria (ASSEREN).
