About Dr. Iquo Asu Takon

Iquo Asu Takon is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Calabar, Calabar. She holds a Ph.D in Industrial Microbiology from University of Calabar (2013). She is also a Lawyer with 15 years’ post call. She has been involved in research, teaching, learning and mentor-ship for the past 18 years in the University of Calabar, Nigeria. She has supervised many research works both at undergraduate and graduate levels with special research interest in Pharmaceutical Microbiology (bias for medicinal plants). She has over 20 publications in local and international learned journals of repute. She has also attended and facilitated many seminars, workshops and conferences.
