About Mrs. Grace Jamie Pepple

Mrs. Grace Jamie Pepple is an indigene of Ediba Village in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. Her employment career started with Bez Pharmaceutical Company, Calabar as a Sales Representative between 1999 to 2000. She remained industrious throughout her school days and during her one year compulsory service to her fatherland in 2003, she taught Business Studies and Economics at Tudu Wada Secondary School, Gombe, Gombe State. She got employed by the University of Calabar in 2015 as an Administrative Assistant, then posted to Senior Establishment Division of the University. Her dedication to duty, hard work and her practical demonstration of the needed skills and ethics saw her being deployed to Physical Planning Unit to work directly with Director of Physical Planning between 2016 and 2017. She maintained her sense of duty and responsibility to the point that, when she applied for change of designation, it was approved by her immediate boss, and the management in 2017. She is currently an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Business Management, Faculty of Management Sciences with effect from 20th March, 2018. Mrs Pepple was awarded a Diploma Certificate in Business Administration by the University of Calabar in 1996 and a Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing) in 2002. She also holds Master’s of Science degree in Business Management. Since joining the University, she has been teaching, researching, mentoring students thereby contributing to the growth of the University. In the course of her work and studies, she has attended many conferences such as the Accounting and Finance Research Association (AFRA) conference held in the University of Calabar in 2018 and the Annual conference of the academy of management Nigeria held at Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Nigeria she have contributed to scholarship through collaboration with other scholars in her field and has co-authored some scholarly articles. Besides, reading, learning new things, teaching, travelling, singing and placing value in relationships are her hubbies, she has related with different kinds of people with differing ideologies and mannerisms from whom she has learnt a lot and she hates dishonesty. Mrs Grace Jamie Pepple is a wife, mother, sister and a friend to her family and friends.
