About Dr. Godfrey Enefiok Ukpabio

Dr Godfrey Enefiok Ukpabio is a Lecturer in the University of Calabar having been appointed Lecturer 1 into the Department of Educational Administration and Planning in 2013. Apart from involvement in academic chores of teaching and assessing students as a lecturer, he is also involved in the supervision of students' research activities at undergraduate and Post Graduate levels. He had played the role of advisor to new students of the Department, while also carrying out administrative tasks as involvement in committees and boards. He has attended and contributed to professional conferences and seminars in and outside of Nigeria. His Academic Roadmap is as follows: First School Leaving Certificate 1978 at St. Stephen Primary School, Ikot Etobo, Nsit Ubium in Akwa Ibom State; West African School Certificate 1983, in Immaculate Conception Seminary, Mfamosing, Akamkpa L. G. Area, Cross River State, Diploma in Religious Studies 1988, University of Ibadan, Bachelor of Arts in Theology- 1990, in Rome, Italy; Post Graduate Diploma in Education- 2004, in the University of Calabar; Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Planning- 2005, in the University of Calabar, and Ph.D- Educational Administration and Planning- 2010, in the University of Calabar. He is a member in Learned Societies such as Nigerian Association for Educational Administration and Planning, (NAEAP); member, Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management(CCEAM); member, Researchers International Network and member, Forum of Educational Benchmarkers in Nigeria. His hobbies include meeting youths, listening to music and watching football. He is also a Catholic priest.
