About Mrs. Faith Sutu Patrick-Inezi

Mrs Faith Sutu Patrick-Inezi is a native of Abonkib in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State. She was born on the twenty fourth of december in Minna, Niger State where obtained her early education at St Andrews Nursery and Primary School Minna, Government Secondary School Maitumbi and the prestigious Maryam Babangida Girls Science College Minna respectively. She graduated with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) Bachelor in Technology (B.Tech.) in Industrial Chemistry from the prestigious Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State. During her undergraduate studies, she received scholarship awards from the Living Faith Church Scholarship Scheme (2009) and Total E&P Nigeria Limited (2010 – 2013) as a result of her good academic performances and morals. She is currently a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, University of Calabar where she has been since 2017 assisting in tutoring and invigilating undergraduate courses and practicals. Her research interest lies in the following areas; treatment of wastewater/ effluents from petrochemical industries using agricultural waste (periwinkle shell) as activated carbon, collaborative research in biodiesel/ biofuels production, extensive research on the properties and diversification of uses of local Nigerian vegetables and herbs and medical and cosmeceutical chemistry.
