About Dr. Essien Ekpeyong Nsa

Dr. Essien Ekpenyong Nsa is a lecturer in the Department of Animal Science, University of Calabar, Nigeria. A widely travelled scholar with publications in Local and International learned Journals. He obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Animal Nutrition and Agricultural Biochemistry from the University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, where his research was on the Chemical and Nutritional Evaluation of Castor oil seed meal in Poultry Nutrition. He holds an M.Sc. degree in Animal Production from the University of Calabar and a B.Agric. Degree in Animal Science from the University of Calabar, Calabar. He is a member of the following professional bodies: Registered Animal Scientist (RAS 00635) and Member, Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS); established by Act No. 26 of 2007, Member, International Research and Development Institute,Member, Agricultural Society of Nigeria (ASN),Member, Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN), Member, Nigerian Society for Animal Production (NSAP).He is happily married with three lovely children.
