Eshiotse Emmanuel joined the services of University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria in 2015 as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Sociology. He was later upgraded to the rank of Assistant Lecturer in 2019. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Sociology and Anthropology (2007) from the University of Benin, Benin-City, Edo State and M.Sc. degree in Criminology and Security Studies (2018) from Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State, Nigeria. His main research areas center on crime against women and children, delinquent behaviours and activities, and cyber related crimes. His hobbies include watching and playing football, travelling and sightseeing.
