Asiya E. Asiya is an Assistant Lecturer in Computer Engineering at the University of Calabar, Calabar. Electronics & Computer Technology Unit, Department of Physics, University of Calabar. He holds an M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics and B.Sc. degree in Electronics & Computer Technology from the prestigious institution, University of Calabar in 2014 and 2008 respectively. Mr Asiya is a network engineer, who was instrumental to the implementation and development of the Cross River State Enterprise and Metropolitan Fibre Optical Network, the Cross River State Smart City and their growth among other contributions at the CRS Ministry of Information and Communication Technology as well as the University of Calabar ICT Directorate. Asiya is a young man with a passion for academic excellence who has carried out researches in the areas of wireless security sensor network, optical fibre, renewable energy with findings published in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals. He specializes in telecommunications, computer/networking engineering, digital electronic engineering, IoT, engineering physics. Asiya is certified with CCNA and vested with high competency in IT-Skills, He is a member of various professional bodies like CCNA, IEEE and NSE. His teaching, writing and leadership capabilities have inspired many young people. He is happily married with a daughter.
