Dr Clement Nku was employed as Lecturer II in the Department of Physiology, University of Calabar in 2000. He rose through the ranks and was promoted to the rank of Associated Professor in Respiratory and Neurophysiology in 2016. Dr Nku holds MBBCH (1998), M.Sc. (2005) and Ph.D (2012) degrees from the University of Calabar, Calabar-Nigeria. He has been teaching, researching and contributing to the graduation of students in the University. He has successfully supervised and co-supervised over seven graduate students comprising Five PhDs and four M.Sc. students. In addition, he has served the University in other capacities including Chairman of Graduate Committee, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences and Acting Head, Department of Physiology. Dr Nku is a great teacher cum researcher with over thirty research articles in reputable international peer reviewed Journals. He has been a regular participant in many conferences, workshops, seminars and symposia where he presents papers. Dr Clement Nku is a member of many professional bodies including Physiological Society of Nigeria, Nigeria Medical Association and Neuroscience Society of Nigeria. He is happily married.
