About Mr. Christopher Awa Otu

Mr. Christopher Awa Otu is a Lecturer with the department of economics University of Calabar. He bagged his B.Sewc and M.Sc in economics from the University of calabar in 2004 and 2012 respectively. He joined the service of the University as a Graduate Assistant in 2010 and rose to the rank of Lecturer II in 2015. His area of research interests include Economic Theory and Development. Mr. Otu has published several articles in peer reviewed journals. He has held several positions in the Department including Examinations Officer Direct Entry from 2015 to 2017 and currently Staff Adviser NUC/CES. He is a member of Nigeria Economic Society. Otu has served in different capacities in the society as Coordinator; Niger Delta Alliance for Atiku 2019, Member Collaboration Committee Faculty of Social Sciences from 2015 to 2019 . Coordinator Mass movement for Good-Luck Jonathan 2015 . Otu, is happily married with children.
