About Dr. Christopher Abua Ochiche

Dr.Christopher Abua Ochiche was employed in the University of Calabar on the 5th of November,2010 as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Environment Science. He was later promoted to the rank of Lecturer II in 2014. He was awarded a B.Sc. degree in Geography and Regional Planning in 2000 from University of Calabar, Nigeria, M.Sc. degree in Environmental and Resource Planning, from University of Jos, Nigeria in 2005 and PhD in Regional Development Planning in 2018 from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (2010) from Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto. His main areas of research interest include: rural development planning, market studies, rural man-power planning and geo-spatial analysis. Dr. Ochiche Christopher Abua is a seasoned acadmic that teaches his Departmental courses very well and supervises undergraduate students' projects. He has participated in many conferences within and outside Nigeria where he made presentations.He has many publications in learned local and international peer review journals to his credit. He is a member of many learned academic and professional bodies like Association of Nigerian Geographers. he is married with children.
