About Dr. Christie Elum Fischer
Dr Christie Elum Fischer holds a B.Sc degree in Human Anatomy (Unical), M.Sc degree in Anatomy (Unilag), MBBS degree (LASU) and a Ph.D in Anatomy (Reproductive Neuroendocrinology) from Unical. She worked as a House Officer at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (2007) and was was given the award as the Best House Officer. She was also a Medical Officer with the Cross River State Ministry of Health (2008-2010) before joining the University of Calabar in June 2010 as a lecturer in Anatomy department where she works till date. She has served as examination officer twice in the department (2010-2012 and 2016-2018) and member of various departmental committees. With a great passion for teaching and research, she has mentored several students and carried out several researches.
