About Dr. Bassey Ibor Ina

Bassey I. Ibor is the second son of an astute community leader and Clan Head of Afaben Clan, Mkpani, Yakurr LGA, Cross River State, Late Chief Ina Ibor Ibiang. Bassey Ibor joined the services of the University of Calabar, Calabar on 2nd February, 2014 as an Assistant Lecturer, and has grown over the period to the position of Lecturer II. He also belongs to several professional bodies among which are the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, among others. He has published widely in reputable local and foreign journals. Prior to joining the academia, he worked in the Banking and Finance sector, rising to the level of a Branch Manager of an international banking institution and Managing Director of a State-owned Mortgage Finance institution. He is happily married to Dr.Mrs. Offiong Bassey Ina-Ibor and the marriage is blessed with a son and three daughters
