About Dr. Anne Meremikwu

Anne Ndidi Meremikwu is a Lecturer 1 in the Department of Science Education, Faculty of Education, University of Calabar, Calabar. She holds a Ph.D in Mathematics Education from University of Calabar (2009). She was Examination Officer in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching (2010 – 2016). She has been involved in teaching, research, learning and mentorship for the past seven years. She has successfully supervised several undergraduate and graduate students to date. She has several publications in reputable Journals both locally and International, and has attended several conferences and made presentations in Local, Regional and International conferences. She has also attended various training workshops and capacity building seminars. Her area of Research interest is Ethno-Mathematics, Gender issues, women in Mathematics. She is currently supervising 4 Graduate Students and several Undergraduate Students.
