About Dr. Alphonsus Kechi Kankpang

Dr. Alphonsus Kechi Kankpang is a lecturer in the department of Accounting,Faculty of Management Sciences,University of Calabar.He is also an administrative and financial consultant certified by the Chartered Institute of Adminstration (CIA) since 1998 with specific expertise in Financial Adminsration, Fraud Examination, Corporate Governance, Ethics and Management controls. He holds a Doctorate (Ph.D) in Accounting (focus on fraud examination), a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Accounting (focus on fraud examination) from the University of Calabar and a Bachelor of science (B.Sc) from AAU, Ekpoma in Accounting. He is also a chartered Manager certified by the MIgeuan Institute of Management (Chartered). He has been involved in several consulting assignments spanning period over 20years with experience on training and research in both private and public sectors. Dr kankpang has also had extensive teaching experience at both graduate and under-graduate levels.His teaching and research interests includes Financial Accounting,Auditing and Investigation,Fraud Examination,Ethics,Corporate Governance and Management Controls.he has supported several small and medium-sized firms in business plan development and implementation on both commercial and philanthrophic basis.
