About Mr. Akah Pius Eneji

Mr. Pius E. Akah is a seasoned and erudite scholar, innovative teacher who has an interest in politics and administration, and he is well-grounded in both theoretical and practical Social Work. He has, over the years, acquired unique skills and capabilities in planning, data gathering, project monitoring and evaluation. Mr. P. E. Akah was awarded a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Social Work by the University of Calabar in 2014 and M.Sc. degree in-view from University of Benin, Benin City. He joined the services of University of Calabar in 2016 as Graduate Assistant. His major research areas include gerontology (Aged), Child welfare, Drug addiction, Community development and Social welfare. Mr. P.E. Akah has served as registration officer to students in the Department of Social Work in 2017. He has authored/coauthored three articles spread across local and international peer reviewed journals. Akah P, as he is fondly called by his peers, has participated in many local and international conferences where he made presentations.
