About Dr. Comfort Nkongho Agbor

Dr. Comfort N. Agbor is a lecturer I in the Department of Environmental Education. She joined the services of the University in March, 2014 as Lecturer as Lecturer II and was promoted to the rank of Lecturer I in 2017. Dr. Agbor holds a B.Ed. (2000) and M.Ed. (2007) degrees in Environmental Education from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. She also holds a Ph.D degree in Teachers’ Education (2013) and a Diploma in Environmental Education (1997) from the same University. Since joining the University, Dr Agbor has been teaching, mentoring, research and contributing to the graduation of students in the University. She has also served the University in other capacities including Examinations officer and Chairman Quality Assurance Committee in the Department of Environmental Education from 2015 to 2018. She has also served in other committees like Teaching Practice Committee, Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria, Faculty of Education Conference Committee, Accreditation Committee and many others. She has authored and co-authored over twenty academic papers in both local and international peer reviewed academic journal. She has attended many conferences and workshops where she presented papers. Dr. Comfort Agbor is a member of the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria, Curriculum Association of Nigeria, Teacher’s Without Borders, Reading Association of Nigeria among others. 5th National conference on knowledge integration and management in higher education for national development.
