About Mr. Felix Unimna Unimna

Unimna Felix Unimna is a Lecturer /Examination Officer II and Departmental Time-table Officer in the Department of Guidance and Counselling, Faculty of Education, University of Calabar, Calabar. He was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Felix A. Unimna (Senior) in Okorshie village, Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. He holds NCE in Geography/Economics from FCT College of Education Zuba, Abuja. He is a holder of Bachelor of Arts Education degree (B.A.Ed) in Guidance and Counselling/Social Studies and Master of Education degree (M.Ed) Guidance and Counselling both from the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He is currently a Ph.D candidate of the prestigious University of Calabar. He is a seasoned scholar, motivational counsellor and educationist with high quest for teaching, counselling, research and community service. Between 2010 and 2016, he was a part-time lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology, FCT College of Education Zuba, Abuja where he taught Guidance and Counselling, Psychology of Human Learning, Psychology of Child Development, Resources for Teaching and Research Methods. He was also a facilitator to National Teachers’ Institute (NTI) between 2011 and 2016. He has taught at all levels of education and this avail him enormous experience in teaching and learning. He has impacted positively into the lives of both young and old, academically, morally, financially and otherwise. He was also the Vice Principal Academics of Redeemer’s Private Secondary School Lugbe, Abuja, between 2015 and 2016. He is a member of professional bodies such as Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON).
