Mr Sylvester Akomaye joined the services of the University of Calabar, Calabar Nigeria in October 2018 as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Sociology. He holds a B.Sc. (2005) and M.Sc. (2015) degrees in Sociology from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State. His main research areas include curriculum studies, basic education and Application of ICT resources for effective teaching. he has been teaching, mentoring and contributing to the graduation of students in the University. He is happily married and his hobbies includes reading, writing, traveling and listening to news.
