Azu, Sylvanus Adingel was employed to the Department of Public Administration, University of Calabar, Calabar on 23rd October, 2018 as an Assistant Lecturer. Azu holds both a Bachelor and Masters of Science Degree of in Public Administration from the University of Calabar, Calabar and University of Uyo, Uyo respectively. Azu Sylvanus Adingel teaches different courses in Policy and Development Studies, Political Economy, Local Government and Public Administration which include but not restricted to Research Methods, Introduction to Political Economy, Development Administration, Theories of Political Economy. Azu has attended some conferences and has conducted some researches on the following topic: “Evaluation of Primary Health Care Delivery Services in Cross River State 2012 – 2015; Socio-Religious Implications of the Child Rights Law in Nigeria. A Critical Examination of some Contentious Areas; Analysis of Local Government System in Nigeria; Intra-Party Democracy and Political Security: A Focus on All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2019 General Elections in Ebonyi State; Development Administration and the Strategies of Development Policies in Nigeria: A Critical Analysis” and many others that are ongoing. Azu has also collaborated with other scholars in the above fields of study who include Mr. Bisong Daniel Bisong, Miss Joy Ogar and Mr. Awubi Richard. Azu is a member of professional bodies like the Academic Staff Union of the University (ASSU), Association of Nigeria Public Administrators.
