About Dr. Peter Aniah Betiang

Dr Peter Aniah Betiang was born on the 7th of February, 1971 in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross river State. He attended the R.C.M Primary school, Bebuabie, and St Benedicts Primary school Igoli, Ogoja. He had his Secondary education in Comprehensive secondary school Ipong where he obtained his Senior School Certificate in 1988. Thereafter, he proceeded to the University of Calabar where he graduated with a B.Ed in Adult Education/English. In 2005, he earned a Masters degree in Adult Education from the Nnamdi Azilkiwe University Awka, Anambra State, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Community Development from the University of Calabar in 2012. He is a member of The Nigerian National Council for Adult Education, The International Association for Community Development, and The National Association of Educationists for National Development, National Association for Educational media and Technologists, The Association for Promoting Quality education in Nigeria, The Society of African Journal Editors, The American Biographical Institute, and a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration. He is the Acting Head of Department of continuing Education and Development Studies, and the Publisher of The Alternative Forum , a multidisciplinary Journal. He is married and blessed with four kids.
