About Mr. Peter Akongfeh Agwu

Mr Peter Akongfeh Agwu, was employed into the University of Calabar,Calabar as Graduate Assistant,Department Of Modern Languages and Translation Studies on May 31st,2015. He had his primary and secondary school formation from 1988 to 2000, He started his higher education in Federal College of Educaion , Obudu in 2001 where he obtained a Nigeria Certificate in Education (N.C.E) in FRENCH/SOCIAL STUDIES(Upper Merits)in 2004. He proceded to the prestigious University of Calabar,Calabar in 2007 and bagged a Second Class Upper (Honours) Bachelor of Arts Degree in FRENCH LANGUAGE, in 2010.After a successful completion of his National Youth Service Corps,he enrolled for a Master's degree in FRENCH LITERATURE in 2012/2013 academic session and graduated in 2016. Mr Peter A. Agwu is a ph.D candidate in the University of Benin,Benin city ,Edo State, Nigeria.He has passion for teaching and has taught both in Pre-Degree and Degree programs.He also teaches Diploma students in Theatre and Media Studies at the Bassey Anda institute of African and Asian Studies.His research interests are French/African literature, Creative writing,Language/Linguistic and Digital Humanities. In his quest for selfless service to humanity, he has served as the Deputy coordinator of Language Emersion Program. Currently, he is the Assistant Examination Officer. He also represents his Department as chairman( Committee on facilities/technical matters,Faculty of Arts) University of Calabar, Calabar. He is a member of professional associations like FAHSANU, UFTAN. He has publications and Awards to his credit.He is currently an Assistant Lecturer.
