About Dr. Pauline Unwada Ekpang

Dr. Pauline U. Ekpang is a teacher and researcher whose area of interest is in career counselling and family counselling. Dr. Ekpang obtained a B.Ed. degree in Guidance & counselling (English) in 1996; M.Ed. and P.hD in Guidance & Counselling in 2005 and 2014 respectively, all from the prestigious University of Calabar. She joined the services of the University of Calabar in 2006 as an Assistant Lecturer. She rose through the ranks and was promoted Senior Lecturer in October 2016, a position which she presently holds. Dr. Ekpang has served diligently in various capacities in the University including; member, Teaching Practice and Project Committee in the Faculty of Education, member, Faculty Graduate Board and Examinations Officer. She is a seasoned teacher and researcher and has authored and co- authored some books, monographs and journal articles. She belongs to many professional associations including the Counselling Association of Nigeria, National Association of Women in Academics, amongst others.
