About Dr. Owa Egbara Owa

DR. OWA EBARA OWA is a native of Owakande town in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D) in Political Science, specializing in International Relations and Strategic Studies from Ebonyi State University, Abakiliki; Master of Science Degree (M.Sc) in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the University of Uyo; Bachelors of Science Degree (B.Sc: Ed) in Political Science from the University of Calabar; Bachelors of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Calabar; BL from Nigeria Law School; Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from College of Education, Akamkpa in Cross River State. DR OWA is currently a lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of Calabar. He is an author of a book and has published several scholarly journal articles in both domestic and international journals. He is a member of the Nigerian Political Science Associate (NPSA); Teachers Registration Council (TRCN); Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). He has been Head, Department of Political Science, and Chief Examination Officer and one time member of Governing Council. He is married with children.
