About Mr. Fidelis Bassey Otosi

Otosi, Fidelis Bassey attended Government Primary School and Comprehensive Secondary School Nko, Yakurr Local Government Area, Cross River State. He obtained his B. A. and M. A. degrees in English and Literary Studies from the University of Calabar. He was given an appointment as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies, the University of Calabar in March 2017. Before this time, he had worked as a classroom teacher in Ambassador Global College Kwali, Abuja, Children of Promise Secondary School, Calabar and Brotherhood Model College, Calabar. Thus far, Otosi, Fidelis Bassey has published one critical essay entitled “Cultural Resurgence: A Paradigm of Wholeness in Paule Marshall’s Praisesong for the Widow”. Otosi Fidelis teaches Caribbean Literature, African American Literature, Introduction to Poetry, Critical Theories, European Renaissance and Introduction to Drama. He had attended the International Conference on African Literature and the English Language (2018) and equally served as a member of one of the subcommittees that organized the conference.
