About Dr. Oluchi Augusta Mmuoegbulam

Dr. Oluchi Augusta Mmuoegbulam was employed in University of Calabar on the 7th of July 2015 as an Assistant Lecturer. She obtained her B.Sc. degree in Industrial Microbiology from Imo State University, Owerri in 2000, M.Sc. degree in Medical Microbiology from University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2008. As a Ph.D student, she was a recipient of TETFund research grant for her Ph.D research internship in Molecular Biology at CPQBA University of Campinas, Brazil. She was awarded a Doctorate degree in Pathogenic Microbiology/Public Health by the University of Calabar in 2019. Dr Mmuoegbulam, who specailises in Pathogenic Microbiology/Public Health, has been teaching, researching and contributing to the graduation of students in the University. She has been attending both local and international conferences, workshops, symposia and seminars where she made presentations in some. Dr Mmuoegbulam is a representative of Faculty of Biological Sciences to the Faculty of Education, University of Calabar. She has supervised and mentored many undergraduate students and her papers have been published in many local and international peer reviewed journals. She is a member of the Nigerian Society for Microbiology, African Society for Laboratory Medicine, American Society for Microbiology and American Society for Quality.
