About Mr. Okoi Okorn Obeten

Mr. Okoi Okorn Obeten is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Administration and Planning, University of Calabar, Nigeria. He holds a B.Ed in Educational Administration and Planning/ Political Science, University of Calabar, Calabar, M.Ed in Educational Administration and Planning (Economics and Politics of Education as area of specialization), University of Calabar, Calabar. He is Currently undergoing a Ph.D programme in Educational Management (Economics of Education) in the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He joined the services of the University of Calabar on the 16th of March, 2012 as a Graduate Assistant. He has taught several courses and carried out undergraduate project supervision over the years in the University of Calabar. He is highly analytical, with planning and organizing skills and loves to maintain sound integrity. He is a problem solving, a team player with a positive mental attitude, proactive and creative thinking skills, articulate, self motivated, result oriented and able to work under pressure with little or no supervision. He has great passion in research studies with particular interest in the studies of Economics and Politics of Education. He is a member of the following Professional bodies: Nigerian Association for Educational Administration and planning (NAEP), Common Wealth Council for Educational Administration and Management (CCEAM).
