About Mrs. Okama Ebri Obono

Mrs Okama Obono was born on 4th Feb 1986 in Calabar, Nigeria. She acquired her primary and secondary education at Army Primary School and Zenith High School respectively. She graduated as the best graduating student with a Second Class (Honours) Upper Division in Chemistry from the University of Calabar in 2008. She received the “Professor John Offem Prize” for the “Best Graduating Student” in Analytical Chemistry”. After a successful National Youth Service Corp programme in 2010 at Sani Dingyadi Secondary School Sokoto, she took up an appointment in 2013 as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. During her years of service, she successfully acquired a Master of Science (M.Sc) Degree in Physical Chemistry in 2017 and got upgraded to an assistant lecturer in the same year. As a University lecturer, she’s been privileged to take on several responsibilities along side interacting, teaching and advising several students. She is happily married to an amazing husband and is blessed with three wonderful children.
