About Dr. Michael Olasunkanmi Olutoki

Dr Olutoki Michael Olasunkanmi worked as a resident doctor in Psychiatry at the Federal Neuropsychiatry hospital Yaba, Lagos State from 2006 to 2012 when he bagged the fellowship award of the National Postgraduate Medical college of Nigeria in Psychiatry. He worked as a locum consultant psychiatrist with 661 Nigerian Air Force Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos State from the 30th of July 2012. On the 1st of May 2013, he gained full employment as a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Calabar, Cross River state. He was promoted to the level of consultant special grade I on the 1st of January, 2017. On the 11th of April, 2016 he was appointed as an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Calabar, Cross River State. On the 7th of May, 2018 his appointment was upgraded to an Adjunct Senior lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry and Faculty of Medicine. Proceeded to Ogun State university (now, Olabisi Onanbanjo University) Ago- Iwoye, Ogun state. Between 1994-2000 where he obtained Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery degree. He has been attending seminars, conferences, workshops, symposia and other update courses, where he made presentations. He has over ten publications in reputable peer reviewed academic journals. Dr Olutoki is a member of many professional associations including Association of Psychiatrist in Nigeria, Association of Geriatric Psychiatrist in Nigeria and many others. He is married with children.
