About Mrs. Mfonobong Okokon Effiong

Mrs. Effiong is an academic staff of the Department of Agricultural Economics, University of Calabar, Calabar. She is into teaching, research, and community development. She had her first degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension from the University of Calabar, Calabar in 2011 and her Masters in Agricultural Economics from the University of Calabar, Calabar (2016). She is currently specializing in Resource and Environmental Economics in her PhD, at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is an expertise in Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, Land and natural resource economics, Data analysis, Cost-benefit analysis, feasibility studies amongst others. She is a member of Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economist (NAAE), African Association of Agricultural Economist (AAAE), and Farm Management Association of Nigeria (FMAN). She has published several articles in peer reviewed journals.
