About Dr. Maria Enemeba Ngwu

Dr. Maria Enemeba Ngwu is Lecturer II in the Department of Guidance and Counselling, University of Calabar, Calabar. She graduated from the University of Calabar with a B. Ed degree in Education in 1986, M.Ed in 1991 and Ph.D in 2013 in the same University. Dr Ngwu was employed as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Guidance and Counselling on 13th August, 2012. She has attended several conferences and presented papers in addition. Maria has published many papers in local and international journals and book chpters. She belongs to professional bodies such as Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). She has also supervised several undergraduate projects. She is a recipient of many awards and has served as staff adviser from 2017 to 2019. She is married with Children.
