About Mr. Ime Edet Sam

Mr. Ime Edet Sam was employed into the service of University of Calabar, Calabar- Nigeria in 2013 as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching, which later gives birth to Department of Environmental Education. He was promoted to the rank of an Assistant Lecturer in 2016. He holds Diploma Certificate in Environmental Education (2001) from University of Calabar. B.Ed degree in Environmental Education obtained from the University of Calabar, Calabar in 2007, M.Ed in Environmental Education in 2016. His main research areas include Effect of petroleum exploitation on Environment of Urue Offiong Oruko Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and Perception of the enforcement of forest laws and sustainable forest management in Calabar education zone, Cross River State. Mr. Sam has been teaching, mentoring and contributing to the graduation of students in the University. He has attended and presented scholarly papers in conferences nationally. His research interest are on, Environment, Tourism and Environmental Community Services. He has over ten foreign and local journals; Ime Edet Sam has held positions of responsibilities within his department. Such positions include student adviser and chairman, Departmental welfare. He is a member of Nigerian Environmental Society (NES) and member, Institute of Safety Professional of Nigeria (ISPON). His hobbies include Reading, keeping fit exercises, writing, listening to news. He is happily married with four lovely daughters.
