About Dr. Idorenyin Clement Eton

Dr Idorenyin Clement Eton is a Research Fellow I at the Institute of Education, University of Calabar, Nigeria. She joined the services of University of Calabar as a non- teaching staff in the University Staff Primary School in 2001. She rose through the ranks and was promoted Senior Mistress in 2017. She was later converted to Research Fellow-I in the Institute of |Education in 2019. Dr Eton received her B Ed. (2007), M.Ed (2014) and Ph.D (2018) degrees in Education Administration and Planning from the University of Calabar. Since joining the University, she has served in various capacities including serving as clerical and class assistant, teaching, mentoring, research and community services. Her main area of research interests are Educational Administration and Planning. Dr Eton has taught several courses at Diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the University. She is a regular participant in many local conferences where she made useful contributions in both poster and visual presentations. She has published over five articles in both local and international peer reviewed journals. Dr Eton has served also served the University as academic adviser to students in the Institute of Education. She is a member of many professional associations including Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Nigeria Association of Educational Administration and so on.
