About Mr. Emmanuel Benimpuye Adie

Lecturer with the University of Calabar, Nigeria, since April 2017. After a two years teaching experience at the Department of Mathematics, Federal College of Education, Obudu. Prior to this, he had worked for some years as a secondary school Mathematics teacher and instructor with National Teachers’ Institute (B.Ed. programme). He has always been interested in how students learn and teachers teach mathematics while working in the mathematics classroom. He is a trained and certified teacher, an active member and state chairman of the Mathematical Association of Nigeria, Cross River State Chapter, taking part in organizing serminals and workshops for Mathematics teachers at the Primary and Secondary School levels in the State. Responsibilities: Lecturer, Course Adviser, Examination Officer (B.Sc. {Ed] programme) Researcher, Project Supervision, Reviewer for scholarly works. His research Interest is in teaching and learning, Mathematics Education, Pedagogy and Education, Use of innovative teaching strategies, psychological and social variables in shaping student’s learning experience with particular focus on mathematics at Post Basic and tertiary levels.
