About Mrs. Elizabeth Libuo-Beshel Nji

Mrs. Elizabeth Libuo-Beshel Nji is a lecturer in the Department of Public Health at the University of Calabar. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Sciences (Biochemistry Option) from the Cross River University of Technology, Calabar, CRUTECH, (2013), and a Master of Public Health degree awarded by the University of Calabar in 2017. As an early career researcher, she is skilled in research methods and is experienced in areas of maternal and child nutrition, clinical nutrition, nutrition in emergencies, and health services management. She holds a certificate of training in leadership and management in health from the Washington University’s Department of Global Health. Before joining the University of Calabar in 2018, Elizabeth Nji was employed in CRUTECH as a Graduate Assistant in 2015 and upon completion of her master’s degree, was upgraded to the rank of Assistant Lecturer. She has published three articles in local and international reputable peer-reviewed journals. Mrs. Nji has also attended conferences where she made presentations and other useful contributions. She is happily married with a daughter.
