About Dr. Dominic Effiong Abakedi

Dominic Abakedi was employed into the University of Calabar as Lecturer II to serve in the Department of Philosophy. He holds both a Doctorate and Master’s Degree from the University of Calabar as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Uyo and a Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Urbania University, Rome. His areas of specialization are Quantum Logic, Philosophy of Science (Physics) and Philosophical Logic. Dominic has taught many courses to Philosophy Undergraduates as well as Elective students, such as: Philosophy and Logic, Introduction to Logic; Advanced Logic; Symbolic Logic and Epistemology. He is a member of the Nigerian Philosophy Association. Dominic has supervised many first degree Long Academic Essays and has 13 Publications in both Journals and Books. He has actively participated in four Conferences.
