About Mr. Columbus Deku Bessong

Bessong Columbus Deku joined the services of the University of Calabar as an Administrative officer in 2013. He was converted to the University Main Stream in the same year as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Continuing Education and Development Studies. He bagged his B.Ed in Adult Education (Community Development) from the University of Calabar in 2010. He had the University of Calabar Study Fellowship Award to study at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, for a Master Degree programme in 2014 where he successfully bagged an M.Ed in Adult Education (Community Development) in January 2016 and was upgraded to the status of an Assistant Lecturer. He is currently a Ph.D student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a skilled teacher with key interest in community development, population education, community education among others. He has attended conferences and presented empirical papers. He has published in both international and local journals. His Institutional email is [email protected]
