Dr. Chidirm Esther Nwogwugwu was employed as a teacher by Obioma Ngwa Local Government Educational Authority, Abia State (1991-1993). Thereafter, she joined the services of Abia State Secondary Education Management Board (1993-2018), teaching integrated Science and Biology. Chidirm Esther Nwogwugwu joined the services of the University of Calabar in 2018, as a Lecturer II in the Department of Educational Foundations (Measurement and Evaluation, Research and Statistics. Chidirim Esther Nwogwugwu started her early education at Ihie Community Primary School, Ihie Isiala-Ngwa North, Abia State (1971-1976). Her secondary education at Ihie High School Ihie Isiala-Ngwa North, Abia state (1977-1982). She attended Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri, Imo State, where she obtained a Nigeria Certificate in Education (1986-1989). Thereafter, she proceeded to the University of Port Harcourt, River State for a degree program in Education (1998-2004). She obtained her Master's degree (M. Ed) in Educational Measurement and Evaluation (2006-2009) at the University of Port Harcourt. She had her doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph. D) in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation (2009-2015), from the University of Calabar, Calabar.
