About Dr. Anthony Michael George

Dr. Anthony M. George is an Applied Geophysicist with over 24 years in teaching and Geophysical research experience. He is a dedicated field Geophysicist whose research interest include subsurface fracture investigation for underground water development, Elastic parameters investigation of subsurface materials and application of geophysics in precision agricultural practice among others. He specializes in the use of Seismic refraction method, Electrical methods, Very low frequency electromagnetic (VLF-EM) method and Ground penetrating radar (GPR) in actualizing his research interest. He is a member of Nigeria Institute of Physics, Nigerian Environmental society and Nigerian mining and geoscience society. He is currently working on the use of GPR investigation for precision agricultural practice in parts of CRS, Nigeria.
