EmailMr Edward Unimke Utam attended St. Charle's Primary School, Obudu from 1983 to 1988 and Government Secondary School, Obudu between 1989 and 1994. He proceeded to University of Calabar, Calabar where he obtained a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Policy and Administrative Studies in 2004, M.Masters in Policy and Administrative Studies in 2010 and M.Sc. degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies in 2018. His main research interests include foreign policy and Conflict management. He was employed as a Research Assistant in the Institute of Public Policy and Administration, University of Calabar, Calabar in 2013. Since joining the University, he has been teaching, researching and mentoring of students.He has served the University in various capacities notably as examinations officer (2016 – 2017) and Institute of Public Policy and Administration's Representative to Faculty of Agriculture (2016 to date). He is a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association. He has published some journal articles in both local and international peer reviewed reputable academic journals.
