As part of the initial agreement, all the collaborating Universities agree to cooperate on many areas including facilitating and coordinating joint researches, human capacity and curriculum developments. Others include organising seminars, academic interactive sessions, and other professional development programmes. Finally, they are also involved in organising joint annual international conferences and workshops. Institutions hosting these activities and programmes are usually selected on a rotational basis. University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria is the 2019 host of the U6+ Conference.
